Does Bye-Lori Have Side Effects?
Does Bye-Lori Have Side Effects?
Q
Dear Dr V,
Does
Bye-Lori
have any side effects? I have had side effects from other intestinal remedies. Thanks.
DE
A
Dear DE,
After in-depth reading of the literature, I find mastic has little-to-no adverse effects. The most common side effects found were diarrhea, gastrointestinal upset (which is not unusual when implementing new supplements due to disruption of bacterial colonization, and it is usually temporary), and dizziness. However, these responses were rare. "Rare" in this context is likely to mean that the side effects may be attributable to some other cause.
Hope this helps.
Dr V
