Q It had been a couple of years since I last purchased VeinoTonic II, and I noticed, with my recent order, that one of the ingredients has been changed: diosmin has been replaced by rosemary extract. I seem to recall that diosmin was the “magic bullet” in this formulation. Why the switch?
BREK, Milwaukee

A There hasn’t been a switch: the formulation is the same as always, but the description had to be changed. It was drawn to the company’s attention that rosemary extract (which contains diosmin) has been grandfathered for use in supplements, but diosmin itself has not. A rose by any other name is still the same.
