Weight Loss with Arginine?
Q I am trying to lose weight and would like to know if there are any vitamin supplements I should take to enhance the effects of L-arginine and L-ornithine. Also, what is the recommended dose of these supplements for optimal weight loss.

A Generally speaking, amino acids such as arginine or ornithine are advantageous for body building, enabling an individual to enhance the benefits of a comprehensive workout program involving peak-output exercise. As a supplement, arginine has many advantages over ornithine, but the amino acid citrulline is far more additive for other benefits (see
on page 13). What you are looking for is not likely to be achieved by taking an arginine formulation, even one that contains all of the other needed ingredients to make it work optimally.
